Dave Burn’s new double single Cold Station / Never Did Dance is out now.
Joe Harvey Whyte (Pedal Steel) and Fred Abbott (Producer/on Piano) join on “Cold Station”, a song that Dave went on to play for one of the first times on a For Folk’s Sake live session and has become a fixture in Dave’s set ever since. Now it gets its long awaited studio version release. “Never Did Dance”, played at the same For Folk’s Sake session, is a song that opened Dave’s last EP “Medium Dave”. On this live version, he was accompanied by Luke Price (also of ahab), who contributed harmonies, backing vocals and additional acoustic guitar. With beautiful melodies and heart on sleeve lyrics, which have become hallmarks of Dave Burn’s songs, these two just had to be released together. We are over the moon to have them out.
