Stream & buy Niki Moss – ‘Gooey’ digitally, on vinyl or cassette
Hot off the back of three successful singles, at home and abroad, Niki Moss’ debut album ‘Gooey’ is out.
With most recent single ‘GP Motorcycle Racing’ premiering on Clash and still making waves on the Portuguese airwaves (playlisted on every major radio station) and receiving love from the world over online, Niki Moss (Moniker of Miguel Vilhena) preceded the albums release with ‘Avalanches’.
A song Vilhena describes simply as being “About boredom, about wanting to leave, about getting smashed by the avalanches of reality that block your path and keep pushing you back. It’s also a song about not belonging and not really aiming to belong either.”
‘Gooey’ collects the singles, ‘Soylent Green’, ‘There Must Be Something In The Water’, ‘GP Motorcycle Racing’ as well. Self-recorded and self-produced, it’s a sharp 10 track set which Niki Moss delivers with aplomb in all the experimental and cutting-edge glory we have come to expect from his music.
